Boy or Girl???

We finally had our 20 week ultrasound day. IT'S A GIRL!!! Brad was right all along. He has been telling me for months that I had "little Kristi" in my belly. It was so much fun to see the how much the baby has grown and how much it moves. Within the last week or so I have finally been able to feel the baby move. It's been so much fun, for the past couple of weeks Brad has been asking, "Can you feel the baby?" and "I want to feel the baby". He finally got to feel the baby move this weekend and he was so excited. We can barely feel the baby move now, so it will be really exciting when we can really feel her move.

We are so excited. We can finally start shopping, decorating, and getting ready for the baby to get here. Man November is still too far away, we are already very anxious for the baby to get here.

Here is my belly as of last week. Man I swear, one day my belly was flat and the next day I had a big ole baby bump, and it gets bigger and bigger everyday. It's such a wierd feeling, but very exciting.

Trip to the Dunes!

Cal (father in-law) CJ (Bro in-law) Dan (Bro in-law) and I went down to the dunes for a quick day trip. Dan was having a bad day with the four wheeler having a flat tire. And to make things even worse for him while we were out riding this is what happened to the chair.

While we were hangin out Cal went into the trailer to get another chair. He put it right in front of the broken one. He went to go get some gas to get the fire going and we switched places with the chairs. This video shows him checking them to make sure we didnt change them.

Then he went back to the trailer to get a bag of chips and then...

Got to give props to Cal for putting up with us!!!

Cal having fun

Here are some more pics of our trip. I tried to take more pictures of us rather then what we bring down with us.

April 15th - Yeah Baby!!!!

It's April 15th!!!!!!!! It's finally the end of my long, long work days! It was so wierd to get home from work at 5:00 and have time to do something before going to bed. So for all of those who have been bugging me to update our blog, here you go. Even though I have been working like crazy, Brad has managed to plan some fun and exciting weekends together to help relieve the stress of the busy tax season. Scroll down to see more!

My thanks goes out to Brad. He is such an incredible husband. He has waited on my every need during tax season, he has been the only one to clean the house, do the grocery shopping, pay bills, run errands, keep up with whats going on in our families, etc. He was also so good about planning special times for us to spend time together like stopping by work and taking me to lunch, taking me out to dinner, picking up a chick flick on the weekends, etc. I honestly don't know what I would do with out him. I love him so much!!!

With that, it's April 15th, and summer is almost here, it's time to go out and celebrate!!!!!

Rascal Flatts Concert

Brad's dad got last minute tickets to the Rascal Flatt's concert. Our seats were in the nose bleeds, but it was so much fun. It was really nice not have to stand up and dance the whole time, but to sit, relax, and enjoy the music.

Spontaneous Weekend

Last weekend, Brad got a wild hair, and decided he wanted to go to Arizona to buy a truck. Tax season at this point was in full swing and I needed a break, so we left to Arizona on Saturday morning and came home Sunday night. It was a short trip, but we had so much fun, it was exactly what we needed.

I posted a picture of the truck we purchased above. Brad is going to kill me because this is the only picture we have of it and he didn't want me to post it until he cleaned it up and made it look all pretty, ie put wheels and tires on it and lift it, etc.

The Phoenix airport was really neat. It had a huge wall with rock and a huge old airplane hanging from the ceiling.
Once we picked up the truck we decided to take it easy on our way home and make all the stops we wanted. On the way we found the Montezuma Castle National Monument. It was really neat.

It's crazy to think that people actually lived in those. Man I am glad I was born when I was.

Next we stopped at another monument, but I can't remember what it was called. It was a little lake or a big pond with Indian dwellings around it.

My favorite part of the trip was stopping at the Grand Canyon, see below! We only had about 4 hours to see the Grand Canyon. It was also about 40 degrees outside and really windy. Unfortunately Brad did not bring a coat or a jacket, so he was miserable. It was so awesome though, I can't wait to go back really soon and see more of the Grand Canyon.

Below is a picture of my favorite thing we saw at the Grand Canyon. It is a place where the Indians used to come and have ceremonies and stuff. It had Indian drawings on all of the walls and the ceilings. It was fascinating

Seriously this is one of my new favorite places to go and I can not wait to go back and explore the canyon some more!

Steph's Wedding

Look how beautiful she looks! Brad's little sister got married on March 19th. I was lucky enough to sneak into the bride's dressing room to visit with her and snap a few pictures before the ceremony. She was definitely a little nervous, but could not keep a huge smile from her face. She seemed so happy. We are so excited to have Andy in our family and hope they he will feel very welcome.

Here is Steph and Steve (Brad's Dad) at the dress rehearsal. See she already can't help but smile.
