Rascal Flatts Concert

Brad's dad got last minute tickets to the Rascal Flatt's concert. Our seats were in the nose bleeds, but it was so much fun. It was really nice not have to stand up and dance the whole time, but to sit, relax, and enjoy the music.

Spontaneous Weekend

Last weekend, Brad got a wild hair, and decided he wanted to go to Arizona to buy a truck. Tax season at this point was in full swing and I needed a break, so we left to Arizona on Saturday morning and came home Sunday night. It was a short trip, but we had so much fun, it was exactly what we needed.

I posted a picture of the truck we purchased above. Brad is going to kill me because this is the only picture we have of it and he didn't want me to post it until he cleaned it up and made it look all pretty, ie put wheels and tires on it and lift it, etc.

The Phoenix airport was really neat. It had a huge wall with rock and a huge old airplane hanging from the ceiling.
Once we picked up the truck we decided to take it easy on our way home and make all the stops we wanted. On the way we found the Montezuma Castle National Monument. It was really neat.

It's crazy to think that people actually lived in those. Man I am glad I was born when I was.

Next we stopped at another monument, but I can't remember what it was called. It was a little lake or a big pond with Indian dwellings around it.

My favorite part of the trip was stopping at the Grand Canyon, see below! We only had about 4 hours to see the Grand Canyon. It was also about 40 degrees outside and really windy. Unfortunately Brad did not bring a coat or a jacket, so he was miserable. It was so awesome though, I can't wait to go back really soon and see more of the Grand Canyon.

Below is a picture of my favorite thing we saw at the Grand Canyon. It is a place where the Indians used to come and have ceremonies and stuff. It had Indian drawings on all of the walls and the ceilings. It was fascinating

Seriously this is one of my new favorite places to go and I can not wait to go back and explore the canyon some more!

Steph's Wedding

Look how beautiful she looks! Brad's little sister got married on March 19th. I was lucky enough to sneak into the bride's dressing room to visit with her and snap a few pictures before the ceremony. She was definitely a little nervous, but could not keep a huge smile from her face. She seemed so happy. We are so excited to have Andy in our family and hope they he will feel very welcome.

Here is Steph and Steve (Brad's Dad) at the dress rehearsal. See she already can't help but smile.

Guys Trip to the Sand Dunes

Brad, My dad, CJ (my brother), Mike (my uncle), and Josh (my cousin & Mike's son) took a weekend trip to the Sand Dunes, just the guys! It was the first ride out for the season and it was cold.

They never really take pictures while they are together. If I am lucky their are three different types of pictures I get; first, pictures of the vehicles and four wheelers lined up together (with out anyone on them). Second, pictures of CJ and Brad jumping their four wheelers. Third, misc wierd pictures that CJ and Brad took when they were being silly. I have several random pictures of CJ's butt, or someone making a wierd face.
This time I was lucky to get a couple good pictures. Sorry about the underlined text, I can't get it to go away, and yes I did try "control + U".

I love this picture. This is a very typical picture of what happens at the Sand Dunes. There is always a bike that needs work, whether or not it is broken. They could spend hours dilly dallying around with their bikes.

CJ looks like he is working hard! Too bad you can't see his ugly red riding boots in this picture!

Like I said, pictures of the vehicles and toys they took down. The four wheelers belong to from left to right: Brad, Josh, Mike, Dad, and CJ

Here's Brad jumping. This is his favorite thing to do at the Sand Dunes. Too bad the pictures never turn out very good. It's so hard to get him in the air.

Manchester, England

My little brother, CJ, got his mission call To Manchester, England. He leaves in June. We are so excited and proud of him. We are sure going to miss him a ton though, especially Brad. Brad and CJ have developed a great friendship. I am so thankful for CJ welcoming Brad into our family and for making him feel apart of it. Since the mission call Brad and CJ have spent so much time together from the Sand Dunes to working on the cars, etc. Everytime they get together they are always planning some activity to do before CJ leaves. CJ has such an amazing spirit, he is going to be an awesome missionary! CJ, we love you so much!

President's Day Weekend with the England's

President's Day weekend we went up to Brad's family cabin in Timberlakes. It is absolutely beautiful. There was a ton of snow, the powder was so deep! This is one of my favorite places to go, it is the best place to relax and soak up nature. Bobby and Ashley England joined us for the weekend. This was our first weekend hanging out with them since Bobby and Ashley got married. We are so happy Bobby found Ashley, Ashley is awesome. It's about time we find another girl who loves to get down and dirty and who loves to go camping.

Bobby and Ashely. Ya know all the powder I was talking about earlier? Bobby totally got the snowmobile buried. We had to completely dig it out. It was quiet a work out, for the boys of course.

A picture of Brad and I, that we did not have to take of ourselves, by ourselves!

Bobby & Ashley bundling up to go out for a ride on the snowmobiles.

Here is Brad finally snow blowing. We got to the cabin late Friday night and Brad did not want to snow blow. The road had been plowed by large snowplows so the entrance to the cabin had about 3 feet of snow. The entrance to the cabin also has an upward slope. Brad thought he should show off in his truck, so Brad put the truck in four wheel drive and rallied the truck for a good hour until we finally made it up the hill to the cabin. Silly boys!

About Ashley liking to get down and dirty. On day two both of our hair was greasy and disgusting, so Ashley decided she could not go any longer with out washing her hair. So she washed it out in the snow. It was freazing, it was about 20 degrees outside. Of course I was way to chicken to go out in the cold, let alone get my hair wet. She's such a girl!

This weekend was seriously so much fun, thanks Bobby and Ashley for coming with us! We can't wait to go camping this summer. We love you guys!

PS - Ashely makes the best chili.

Superbowl Party

Once the basement was completed, Brad was so excited to have a party! So we had some friends over for the Superbowl. It was so much fun getting to now these families better. Even though I don't particularly enjoy watching the Superbowl I had a blast. Thanks to Chad and Melinda for all their help!

McKel had a blast with "The Amazing Hulk" gloves. I have to say that Brad enjoys them even more!

This is the cutest picture of them all. Mason and Mikell shared their very first kiss in our basement! K-I-S-S-I-N-G
