Leah & Her Toys

I got home from work one afternoon and Brad was so excited that Leah played with her exercauser for the very first time. I thought there was no way that Leah was big enough for the exercauser. Later that night this is what I found! Thank goodness for the pillows holding her up!
This is what I do when I am desperately trying to get some work done when Brad is at school. Leah loved it!

2 Month Check Up

Leah had her 2 month check up today! She is growing like a weed. She is 10 pounds 13 ounces and 22 inches long. She had 3 shots. It was the saddest thing I have ever experienced, she literally screamed at the top of her lungs. Doctor says she looks great, she is a healthy, happy baby! What more could we ask for?

6 Weeks Old

Leah is now 6 1/2 weeks old. Time has gone by so fast, I can't believe how much she has grown. We have determined that she does not like me eating dairy products, ever since I have been completely off of them she is so much happier and sleeping a lot better. Last weekend we stayed in St. George with Brad's parents and she slept 6 hours Friday night, 8 hours Saturday night, and 6 hours Sunday night. I hope that wasn't a fluke, we'll see how tonight goes. It was so nice getting a full nights sleep. Ask Brad, I am such a happier person when I get my sleep.

Leah loves to lay on the floor and stretch out and kick her legs. She also is loving to watch her mobile on her crib and swing spin round and round. Her favorite thing though is music. Great Grandma Stringham gave her a CD player for Christmas and she loves listening to the Primary Children's Song book songs and other baby CDs.

We love Leah so much, we are so thankful to have her as part of our family.

Seriously, how did we get so lucky to have such a beautiful little girl?

We have been anxiously awaiting Leah's week old pictures. They turned out so good, we couldn't be happier, thanks to Robyn and Tami. If you are hunting for someone to take baby pictures, they do a great job, let me know and I will give you there info.

Baby Leah Update and the Nursery

Becoming a mother has been a very emotional experience for me. I am shocked at how much love I have for Leah, it was instant, the moment I saw her I fell absolutely in love with her. She is such a good little girl. She already has Brad wrapped around her finger. Every time she makes a sound Brad runs to her. He even runs to her the second he gets home from work and tries to wake her up to play with her. Leah doesn't sleep much at night and Brad even wakes up and comes to help. I am so thankful for him, he is such a great dad and husband.

So heres the nursery, finally! Thanks to my mom for helping me with the bedding and curtains! I had no idea what I was doing and she was so patient.

Our Baby Leah has arrived

11/12/2009 @9:27 we welcomed our sweet little Leah into the world. She is 7lbs and 7oz and 21 inches. It was one of the best experiences of our lives. Kristi was in labor for 14 hours with our baby and did awesome! She is a great mom always holding and taking great care of our little girl.

Last night was a little hard. Leah was up all night and was hungry and fussy. So needless to say Kristi and I are very tired today. Leah looks a lot like her mommy. We feel very blessed to have this sweet little girl in our lives.

Belly Update

9 1/2 Weeks Left!!!!! For those of you who keep telling me to update my blog with pictures of my belly, here you go. My belly is getting huge and seems to grow more and more over night. Brad and I have finally begun the babies room, I will post pictures as we get closer to finishing it.
