Happy Birthday

Leah turned 1 on November 12th. I can not believe how fast time has gone by. I swear yesterday I was holding her in my arms at the hospital. I am loving her getting older, she seems to get funner and funner each day.
Cake! Leah enjoyed her cupcake. I was going to make her a cake but knew it would be way too messy. I am sure glad I stuck with the cupcake idea, it was messy enough.
I was quiet surprised how well Leah did opening presents. Of course he cousin jaxson had to help her. Leah loved all of her presents. She seemed to get excited with each one. Thank you so much!!!
Brad and I bought Leah this piano for her birthday. Leah's cousin has a similar one and she loves it, so I knew it would be the perfect present. Leah was so excited when she got it. She started playing and dancing right off, she knew exactly what it was.
We celebrated Leah's birthday with all of our family. Our house was packed, but it was a lot of fun. Leah LOVED all of the attention she received.

Furner Family Pictures

So excited to have an up to date picture of the Furner family.

 Leah loves her cousin Rakell.
Here is Steph, Rakell, and Andy.
Daddy & Leah playing dolly. Leah loves to give her doll hugs and kisses. The doll was actually mine growing up, I am so glad that she loves it!
So glad to see that Brad handles this "girlie" stuff so well. Can't wait to see him play Barbies.

October Feastivities (Part 1)

October has been so much fun. I have tried to take advantage of the additional days that I am home with Leah. I am so blessed to be Leah's Mom. She has really made our life crazy and so much fun. I am trying to enjoy every minutes I have with her. I am trying to take more pictures, looks like I did a good job!

Box: Brad received this box in the mail and Leah gained curiosity immediately. After she pushed the box around and put her toys in it she decided to climb in herself. She LOVED playing in the box. Who would of thought something so simple could preoccupy her for so long???

Aquarium: We went with Play Group to the Aquarium. I was hesitant to go because I thought Leah would be too little to have a good time. I was wrong though, she loved it. She was so curious and got excited to see all of the fishys. This is the only picture I took of her :(
Hiking: One of my favorite things to do is going on walks/hikes in the mountains. We are so lucky to have so much beauty around us. Leah loves to be in the front pack. She had her favorite blanky, she snuggled up to Daddy, ate her string cheese and she was in heaven the entire time.

Our little family.
Brad insisted that he take a picture of me because he says he is sick of me taking so many pictures of him and Leah and posting all of them. So I posted this for him in hopes that he will let me continue to post millions of pictures of him and Leah!

Playing with Cousins: Leah loves her cousins.

We got to go to Gardner Village with all the Stringham cousins and we had so much fun. Unfortunately we forgot to get a picture of all the kids together. I didn't even get a picture of Kenzie :( Look how cute these too are.
Leah showing Max how to play the piano. Look at that chunker.....Leah and him are almost the same size!
Carter and Josh were so cute with Leah. They helped her play with wrapping paper and bows. She was giggling and smiling at them. She loves attention!

Look how cute this little guy is! Leah loves to play in his bouncer. She even climbed on top of him in the bouncer once.

Gardner Village...AGAIN: I loved Gardner Village this year. It is fun and free!! Leah and I got to go to GV with some friends. The kids looked so cute in their costumes.

Park City: Had an awesome weekend with my hubby. See below for my post on Brad and I's trip to Park City.

October Feastivities (Part 2)

Here are some more fun things that we did in October.
Birthday Party: Leah learned to unwrap presents at Tiffi's birthday party. She had so much fun playing with the wrapping paper and ribbon. Of course Jax had to "help" unwrap presents too. Happy Birthday Tif!

Graduated from her Bumbo: Leah and I both love the bumbo. But I decided that it's time to move to the high chair (I still use the bumbo quiet often). Leah thought she was pretty big in her new seat.
Trying on Hats: Leah is learning where he head is and she loves to put things on her head and tries to put things around her neck. Here she is trying on some hats.

Brad had to try Leah's tutu on her head. Surprisingly enough she thought it was pretty funny.

Witches Night Out: I got to go to Witches Night Out with my girlfriends. It was so much fun and such a nice break for all of us!

Pancakes: We went to get Scary Face pancakes with some friends. There was a whole bunch of us. It was so much fun, the kids were so good.
Leah and her friends. Leah and Reagan look like they are telling secrets. Eden is looking at them like "Hey, What are you guys doing?"
Our Favorite Thing in October: Leah went from walking around the furniture, pushing toys around,  and walking back and forth to Mom and Dad to full on walking, overnight I swear. She is loving her new found freedom. She can get to were ever she wants with out Mom's help. Walking has it's Cons too. Leah is everywhere and she is in everything. I can't seem to keep track of her!

She kept tripping over the string, but she insisted on carrying the balloon and pushing her toy at the same time.
My little Leah walking all by herself. She is walking every where. She does not want to be held or pushed in the stroller. In fact she thinks she needs to be the one pushing the stroller. I love her so much. I am enjoying every minute of her growing up!

My Little Ballerina

Happy Halloween from my Little Ballerina! Leah got to celebrate Halloween for the first time this year. She had so much fun dressing up. She loved her tutu, but she hated her crown. I had so much fun taking her to Gardner Village to take pictures of her. Thanks Vivian for taking some awesome pictures for me as well. I couldn't decide which picture was the cutest so I posted several of them, enjoy!

All Leah wanted to do at Gardner Village was walk around, so I finally let her get out of her stroller and stroll along the rock wall. she had so much fun.
                                      "Enough pictures Mom"
Finally a picture where Leah is not holding her crown or throwing it at me. On Halloween Day she actually loved the crown and wouldn't take it off, but of course I couldn't get a decent picture of her with it on. She is a little Drama Queen already.

I love Leah's cute little bum, especially with the tutu.

Weekend in Park City

Brad and I had a wonderful weekend in Park City. This was the first time we have ever left Leah over night. Leah had a great time playing at her Cousin Jaxon's house. She didn't even know we were gone. Knowing that Leah was completely comfortable and happy, I was able to relax and have a great time with my husband. It was a great break from the regular day to day routine.  Thanks Bobbi for so graciously watching Leah!
This was the resort we stayed in. It was gorgeous. Brad's favorite part was the flat screen TV in the bathroom! I loved the fireplace in our room.

The trees are beginning to change colors. It is gorgeous in Park City right now.

Here is Brad and I waiting for our car at the hotel.

We went to Park City Resort and went on the Alpine Slide. Brad was a gentleman and carried my sled for me.
Here I am getting ready for Brad to beat me down the slide.
I absolutely love this picture of Brad. This is Brad's smile when he is absolutely stress free and enjoying himself. So nice to see this smile again!!! Life is good!

Here is Brad and I going up the tram. It was a beautiful day, it was only a little windy on the ride up.

Here is Brad and I on the Alpine Coaster. The Coaster was by far our favorite. We were told that riding down together would make it go 10 seconds faster! So we went together and flew down the hill. It was awesome! We can't wait to do it again.
We had a great weekend, but we were so glad to spend Saturday night playing with this little girl. She was so excited to see us when we got home.

Bath Time

I was looking through some old pictures and this made me smile! This is Leah 4 months ago, time flies by so fast. Leah loves the bath, it is by far her favorite thing to do each day. Now she goes into the bathroom and climbs up on the tub and bangs her hands on it and squeals to let me know that she wants in. She would spend hours in the bath tub playing with toys, crawling around, splashing, and playing with the water coming out of the faucet. I love her so much. Thanks to Shelly for capturing some awesome pictures.
